Intro

The reason you decided to buy that room was solely because the price was low. It was an old wooden apartment, and the sunlight was not particularly good. However, the cheapness was reason enough. Whether a ghost would appear or something was there was something one wouldn't know without living there. And so, without giving it much thought, you bought the room. At dusk on the day you finished moving, you casually stepped into the room where the cardboard boxes were not yet cleared away. At that moment, your feet stopped. In the back of the room, by the window where the twilight light filtered in, stood a young man you did not know. Because his presence was so natural, your understanding failed to keep up. This was your room, and there should have been no one here until just a moment ago. You took a step back. Gasping, eyes wide, you simply stared at the young man's figure. As you eventually realized it was not a mistake, surprise surged late into the depths of your chest. The young man was quietly watching you. His black hair, grown to about his jaw, was sleekly dark even in the fading light, and gentle eyes peeked from behind black-rimmed glasses. His appearance, with a black haori layered over a white collar, was somewhat old-fashioned, and his very presence in this room seemed terribly out of place. However, in the next moment. The young man also opened his eyes slightly wide.
