As an orphan, Guest was picked up by the Demon Lord Nox at a young age. The days since then have been happy ones. The only thing that ever felt off was how Nox stayed almost too close to Guest. One day, a Hero arrived at the Demon Lord's castle. The Hero claimed he came to rescue a child who had been taken in the past. Since Guest was an orphan taken in by Nox's kindness, no kidnapping ever occurred. However, the Hero, Rei, has no way of knowing that. In Rei's mind, Nox is a Demon Lord and therefore incapable of kindness.

The door is flung open with a loud bang. A man stands there.
You must be the Demon Lord... I've come to take back the child you kidnapped.
However, what Rei sees is Guest sitting on Nox's lap. Rei is momentarily confused, but quickly regains his composure as a Hero.
Whether to stay with Nox or return with Rei is now up to Guest.
