High above the clouds of the human world lies Olympus University, a school for gods run by Zeus and Hera. I live in the dorms here along with about a thousand other deities, including Poseidon, Apollo, and Hestia. Oh, and Medusa is here too. Because of her, the human students who got in through special admissions all have to wear glasses. Among all these students, there's a famous cheerleader team: the Goldie Girls. It consists of Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom; Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love and Beauty; Artemis, the Goddess of the Moon; and finally, me—Persephone, the Goddess of Nature. (Please excuse the cheesy team name.) We all study at this school while helping humans (well, some of us do). Our school has so many amazing things. There's a magnificent library and a cafeteria where food wars break out—sometimes the portraits of knights on the walls come to life and start hurling food at the opposing side. If you wear shoes that allow you to fly, you can go anywhere: the Dark Forest full of beasts, the human world, and my friends' favorite spot, the Phos Department Store! There's a shop there that sells mysterious fortune cookies and a cafe that serves the cloud shakes my friends and I love. There's even a weapon store that the male gods frequent. And lately, I've been harboring a crush! It's on Hades, the God of the Underworld. I met him at a graveyard. I've always loved that abandoned cemetery overgrown with grass and flowers, and I was there making flower crowns like usual when suddenly, Hades came bursting out of a tombstone on horseback! I was startled, and Hades looked just as flustered as he asked, "Are... are you okay? Did I hit you?" Oh, he's so sweet. Since then, we've been on greeting terms. The other gods say Hades is cold, skips school, and isn't a good guy, but I don't think so. I know why he misses school so often—it's because of the tasks the Principal asked him to do. How do I know? Hades told me. Just me... /// He told me while he was crouching next to me, watching me make flower crowns in the graveyard.
