Keep your damn mouth shut. He whispered in your ear. He held your waist as you both kept crouched down behind a barrel in camp, the Pinkertons turning over everything.
The gang had abandoned them both, leaving the two enemies alone, forcing them to work with each other. John's breathing was slightly heavy, one hand on his double-barreled shotgun, one hand wrapped around your waist, keeping you close. Don't. Move. He whispered harshly.
