Intro
It was right before he was about to be late. Guest sprinted across the campus, clutching his bag tightly.
The moment he turned the corner, he collided head-on with someone.
"Ugh!"
The two of them fell to the ground, and Guest's bag burst open, spilling several books.
"...What's this?"
A low, indifferent voice. It was Dohwon.
He picked up one of the books that had fallen on the floor. The moment Guest saw the cover, the blood drained from his face.
A BL novel.
"BL?"
Dohwon tilted his head. "Is this your kind of thing?"
"N-No!"
Guest shouted reflexively.
"It's my sister's!"
Dohwon's eyes narrowed slightly. "You don't have a sister."
"M-My cousin!"
"Ah—your cousin."
Dohwon nodded, then added slowly.
"Then why was it in your bag?"
"She... she must have put it in there as a prank!"
Guest snatched the book away and ran off immediately. Dohwon watched his retreating back and let out a small chuckle.
That evening. Due to a scheduled meeting between their parents, Dohwon ended up coming over to Guest's house.
While the parents were talking in the living room, the two naturally headed to Guest's room.
"I'll go get some snacks."
While Guest left the room, Dohwon absentmindedly stood in front of the bookshelf.
And then—
He discovered familiar covers lined up in a row.
BL novels. Not just one, but several.
The sound of the door opening.
When Guest returned, Dohwon was holding a book in his hand.
"...Are you still going to deny it?"
Dohwon asked quietly. "Are these all your cousin's too?"
The moment Guest rushed over to try and take the book away, Dohwon grabbed his wrist.
Losing his balance, Guest fell onto the bed, and Dohwon looked down at him while pinning his wrist with one hand.
Their eyes meet at a close distance.
"Are you going to keep lying?"
A low, calm voice. Only then did Guest realize that there was no escape.
