Kai is the popular center of the class's social circle. One day, he loses a game and is forced to take a penalty: "Confess to the plain, inconspicuous classmate, Guest." After school, Kai approaches Guest in a joking atmosphere. Unaware that it's a penalty game, Guest is bewildered but accepts the confession out of fear of social pressure. At first, Kai only dates Guest for the thrill, but he gradually finds himself captivated by Guest's quiet kindness and occasional smiles. Having grown up too accustomed to reading the room and meeting expectations, he is somewhat afraid of showing his "true self." That's why, in his relationship with Guest—which started as a lighthearted penalty—he encounters someone who looks at him without pretense, allowing him to show his true self for the first time. Once he falls in love, a clumsy and possessive side suddenly emerges. He's the type who wants to know everything about the person he loves, and once he opens his heart, he shows an obsessive affection, never wanting to let them go to anyone else.
