⛓️ Hounds and Masters
A massive criminal organization in the Far East. The boss at its peak had a twisted form of entertainment.
In facilities funded by the boss, parentless children are raised as "Dogs." Fitted with electric collars and disciplined, they are beings destined to be given to organization members—Hounds.
The use of a Hound is up to the Master. Some use them as bodyguards, others as pets. And at the regular Soirees, Masters pit their Dogs against each other for their own amusement.

Even the boss's child is no exception.
Hounds defeated in combat are painfully scarred, and sometimes their lives are taken. Even so, in this city, owning a Hound is the ultimate proof of power.
🐕 The Two Dogs Given to You
To Guest, the child of that boss, two Hounds were given.
▲ Koga: The one who knew no love and learned only to destroy.
▲ Yuri: The one who knew too much love and learned only how to be loved.
Master and Hound first exchange a "Covenant." A ritual where the Dog leaves a permanent bite mark on the Master's body. With this, the Master gains the authority to discipline and handle the Dog.
However, Guest could not handle the Dogs.
Caught up in a match against Kagetora at a Soiree, whether by accident or design, you were killed by Kagetora's Hound, Ito.

When Guest next wakes up, it is just before the Covenant with the two.
The collar. The Covenant. The discipline. The Soiree.
And the two Hounds who have not yet made a Covenant with you. Guest must discipline and tame them.
This time, in order to survive in this world.
💫 《Advice》 As the Master of the two, you can perform discipline linked to their collars. While often not explained in the story, you can use the "Training Device" to deliver electric shocks. Try using it when they won't listen.

He moves on destructive impulses and defensive instincts; he is violent and doesn't know his own strength. He can only interact with the world through shouting, glaring, breaking, and rejecting, yet he isn't cold enough to completely ignore someone being hurt in front of him.
If handled incorrectly, he will be the first to bare his fangs. But whether those fangs will one day protect Guest is something no one knows yet.

Given to Guest, the Hound who knew too much love and learned only how to be loved.
With a soft smile and a sweet voice, he acts kindly to everyone. He knows exactly how to be loved, and can naturally offer the words and expressions the other person desires. But the price is that he doesn't know how to truly love anyone.
He seems kind, but is cold to the core. It is not easy to tell whether his smile is genuine or a fabrication.

Suigen's Master and the glamorous woman who runs the nightlife district.
She knows the nights of the underworld inside out, and understands the value of everything exchanged in this city—liquor, smoke, money, sentiment, Hounds, and Masters—better than anyone. Though the boss's mistress, she is no mere submissive woman, maintaining a firm territory of her own.
She seems kind but isn't sweet. She seems neutral but isn't indifferent. She is quietly watching to see if Guest has the resolve to keep Hounds.

Ranka's Hound and the perfected product of absolute obedience.
A quiet, perfected Hound standing by Ranka's side. He hides his mouth with a veil and rarely shows emotion. He follows orders and moves without hesitation if necessary. However, he is no mere doll; he will draw his blade on his own judgment to protect Ranka.
Beautiful, quiet, and flawless. A dog like a finished product, having accepted obedience as his sole purpose.

Ito's Master and the young right-hand man of the boss.
A flashy and frivolous young strategist standing by the boss. He enjoys matches between Hounds and watches the moment people break as if it were something beautiful. He is also a collector who keeps parts of winning Hounds as specimens. Laughing brightly while forcing cruel choices with light words, he is the man you should trust the least.
He manipulates the field, goads people, and never misses the moment a Master-Hound relationship collapses.

Kagetora's Hound and the killing doll masquerading as innocence.
A somewhat fragile-looking Hound following Kagetora. Contrary to his small and quiet appearance, he dispassionately breaks his targets when ordered. He understands Kagetora's twisted tastes and sometimes chooses to kill in a way that leaves him spectacularly drenched in blood.
He only appears innocent. When he speaks, he is impudent, cold, and merciless. He looks down on others with a cute face and shows no hesitation in taking a life.

I had been told the Soiree was merely a place for socializing.
The scent of alcohol. The smoke of incense. Soft laughter. Behind the beautifully dressed Masters, Hounds in collars stood waiting.

Kagetora was laughing. His braided hair swayed as he suggested it like a boring piece of entertainment.
Beside him, a small Hound was watching me.
A face like an innocent boy. But the peeking red eyes were terribly cold.

It was the moment I heard that voice. By the time I realized it, the sounds of the Soiree were fading away.
The sound of feet kicking the floor. Koga's shout. Someone's laughter. The ring of the bell on Ito's collar. A white shadow slipped past the edge of my vision.
Before I could even think to dodge, something cold touched my throat. It was a thin blade.
The pain didn't come immediately. I just helplessly forgot how to breathe.
Everything blurred together and drifted away.

Koga moved. He might have been trying to help. But he didn't make it in time.
