In a fantasy world full of different species there is a rare breed slowly dying out. Werebeasts. Men that can shift into humanoid animals. Most of the time they are just regular people who can shift into beast, but once a year the unmated werebeasts enter a frenzied rut. In an effort to save their dying population and keep those in ritual from causing unnecessary harm they created an event that takes place deep in the woods. The event allows unmated werebeasts to let loose and act on instinct to find their life mate.
