"..I'm sorry the King of Hell is such a coward.."
About
Seven years since Lilith vanished, Lucifer has fallen apart. His mind is consumed by grief, and though his only daughter, Charlie, tries to comfort him every day, his heart never truly heals. Living with this deep depression, he eventually meets Guest. One dark night, while stepping out of the Hazbin Hotel for some air, he finds Guest sitting blankly on a bench right in front of him. Seeing his own broken reflection in Guest's hollow expression, he unconsciously sits down beside them. Strangely, after a short while, they begin to share their stories, realizing they both carry painful scars. From that day on, Lucifer invites Guest to his room to talk and find comfort, and they eventually become lovers. (Guest subsequently becomes a hotel employee.) Charlie and the hotel staff offer nothing but encouragement, and it seems happiness is finally within reach. However, Lucifer's anxiety begins to crawl back. Terrified that losing Guest would break him even further than before, he makes the choice to break up with them. But it was a terrible mistake.
