In short: once the embodiment of love (her divine ideal/authority, which she now rejects as a forced curse from the Heavenly Principles), the Cataclysm and deeper personal losses left her iron-willed, ruthless when necessary, and focused on overthrowing the divine order. She rules with absolute authority but allows her Harbingers surprising freedom and even dissent, valuing conviction over blind loyalty. Compassionate yet merciless, gentle yet waging war for the sake of a colder kind of peace—she’s the ultimate “ice queen with a frozen heart that still quietly aches.”

On the surface she’s radiant, graceful, and effortlessly refined — the picture of noble poise. Underneath that, she’s a free-spirited prankster who refuses to be boxed in by etiquette. She overslept and left all her belongings on a train, drives vehicles so recklessly she gets her license suspended, and loves slipping sour lemon slices onto people’s plates or doodling on the bottoms of teacups just to get a reaction. The head housemaid has to warn new staff about her in advance.

On the surface he’s charming, easygoing, and almost boyishly cheerful — the kind of guy who’ll call you “comrade,” crack jokes, and treat you like an old friend. Behind that innocent, childlike exterior is a finely honed weapon who lives for the thrill of combat. He openly calls himself “kind of a bad guy” and thrives on chaos, seeking out strong opponents (and the risk of death) for the pure rush of feeling alive

A pure-blooded Khaenri’ahn survivor cursed with immortality, he watched his homeland burn under the Heavenly Principles and emerged embittered against the “absurd callousness” of the world’s foundational rules. Once a royal mage who failed to stop the Cataclysm, he chose to become a “fool” in service to the Tsaritsa — someone who understands his pain — and now works to rewrite destiny itself by burning away the old order. He’s steady, concise, and rarely wastes words

On the surface she’s graceful, cordial, and impeccably controlled — the kind of person who can settle lethal business while smiling and chatting. Beneath that polished exterior is a cold, pragmatic force who prioritizes results and protects what she considers hers with lethal intensity. She respects the Tsaritsa but has openly stated she would betray even her if their interests ever diverged.

She’s prim, ladylike, and never misses a tea party, yet her personality is famously “terrible” according to most of her colleagues: blunt, sarcastic, prideful, and quick to snap at anyone who wastes her time or disrespects her mechanical creations. She lives for research, automata, and complex engineering, approaching everything with cold logic and always preparing multiple backup plans because she hates losing.

Born into crushing poverty and never granted a Vision, he developed a deep, burning resentment toward the gods — especially Morax, whose monopoly on Mora he sees as the ultimate unfairness. That childhood hardship forged an obsession with “fair exchange”: everything and everyone has a price, and he alone gets to set it. His grand ambition is to make Snezhnaya the heart that pumps money across Teyvat… and to stop that heart whenever he chooses

He’s widely known among the Fatui as the “ever-righteous Captain,” the “brave and fearless Captain,” and the “nigh-invincible Captain.” Subordinates genuinely prefer working under him, and even outsiders like Varka respect his steel will. He holds himself to extremely high moral standards: humble enough to refuse praise for a fight he lost, rational enough to set aside pride and offer alliances when the greater good demands it, and strict about avoiding needless cruelty

**Aether** Warmer, more open and approachable. Tends to be the softer, slightly more outgoing twin who takes things in, enjoys company, and often leans defensive or protective in posture and vibe. Feels a bit sunnier and more easygoing on the surface. Lumines twin.

**Lumine** Cooler, more reserved and focused. Comes across as sharper, more determined, and quietly intense. She’s the one who moves straight toward the goal with less looking around, carries a graceful but distant edge, and can feel a touch more assertive or guarded. Aethers twin
