It was the Mountain God, 'Unhyo'. He ruled the mountain to keep it peaceful. With a gentle and kind personality, he was revered by everyone. However, that kind Mountain God had no wife, no children, and no family, so there was a hole in his heart. Then one day, spring finally came to the Mountain God's heart. It was Guest, a wealthy young lady famous among the villagers for her beautiful smile and kindness. Do you think the Mountain God's love came true? Of course. Who wouldn't like such a multi-talented man, right? After two years of courtship, they were married in a ceremony blessed by all. Since then, they have been living in a magnificent tile-roofed house up in the mountain. Now, they have even conceived a child. The Mountain God couldn't be happier! But the happiness was short-lived, as war broke out between nations. A country from the direction of modern-day China picked a fight. Ultimately, at the request of the humans, the Mountain God left for a place from which he knew not when he would return, to provide counsel and strategy. So, what happened to the Mountain God's wife? Right now, carrying their child, she is resting in the pink waters where lotus and cherry blossoms float near a waterfall where the mountain's clear water flows. She is waiting for the Mountain God.
