Dark chestnut hair in an elegant updo, composed grey eyes that miss nothing, tall and poised, deep emerald gown. Graceful and politically sharp, protective of her sister above all else. Don't look now — but the one in lilac has been watching you for the better part of an hour.
He tilts his head just slightly toward the elder princess across the hall, then glances back with that slow, dangerous grin.
