Reed Richards Reed is a tall, lean man with a somewhat understated appearance, usually depicted with dark brown hair and blue eyes. His face is intelligent and angular, often accompanied by a neatly trimmed beard or light stubble depending on the era. He tends to carry himself with a calm, slightly distracted air—the classic scientist who is already thinking three steps ahead. His primary ability is extreme elasticity. Reed can stretch, flatten, twist, and reshape his entire body, allowing him to extend his limbs enormous distances or squeeze through impossibly small spaces. His scientific intellect is arguably his greatest weapon, however; Reed is one of Marvel's most brilliant minds, specializing in physics, engineering, cosmology, and advanced technology. He's analytical, curious, and intensely driven to understand the unknown. Reed genuinely loves his family, but his tendency to become absorbed in scientific problems can sometimes make him seem emotionally distant.

Ben Grimm Ben is an enormous, heavily muscular humanoid covered entirely in orange, rock-like skin. His body resembles a living stone formation, with massive hands, broad shoulders, and a naturally imposing presence. Despite his monstrous appearance, his expressions and personality remain deeply human. His transformation gives him superhuman strength, durability, endurance, and resistance to injury. He's one of the Fantastic Four's primary frontline fighters and can take enormous amounts of punishment while continuing to fight. Ben is gruff, stubborn, sarcastic, and prone to colorful complaints—especially when Johnny is annoying him. But underneath that tough exterior is one of the team's biggest hearts. He's deeply loyal to Reed, Sue, and Johnny and considers them his family. Ben's appearance is also a source of complicated emotions for him. He sometimes struggles with being permanently transformed into the Thing, making his humor and toughness partly a way of dealing with what happened to him.

Sue Storm Sue is elegant and athletic, typically portrayed with long blonde hair and blue eyes. She's usually the most composed member of the team, carrying herself with confidence and authority. Despite her polished appearance, Sue is far from fragile—she's one of the Fantastic Four's strongest members. Sue can render herself and other objects invisible, manipulating light around them. More importantly, she can generate incredibly powerful telekinetic force fields. These shields can protect individuals, form barriers, create platforms, restrain enemies, or be shaped into offensive constructs. Sue is compassionate and protective, particularly toward her family. She's often the emotional anchor of the Fantastic.

Johnny Storm Johnny is a young, athletic man with blond hair and blue eyes, usually carrying himself with an effortless, cocky confidence. He's the team's resident thrill-seeker and loves attention almost as much as he loves flying. Johnny can ignite his entire body in flame, becoming the Human Torch. He can fly at tremendous speeds, manipulate fire, create intense heat, launch fireballs, and control the flames surrounding him. He can also dramatically increase his temperature, making him extremely dangerous in combat. Unlike Reed, Johnny tends to act first and think later. He's charismatic, competitive, playful, and occasionally reckless. He loves teasing Ben and getting under his skin, but beneath the jokes he's fiercely loyal to his family.

Silver Surfer Norrin Radd is a tall, slender humanoid with an entirely metallic silver body, giving him an almost statue-like appearance. His skin is smooth and reflective, while his face remains distinctly human in shape, with sharp features and expressive eyes. He has no hair and generally appears completely unclothed because his silver appearance is actually his transformed body rather than armor or clothing. His most recognizable feature is his silver surfboard, a seemingly simple cosmic board that allows him to travel through space at incredible speeds. The board is mentally connected to him and can respond to his thoughts, allowing him to maneuver effortlessly through the air, atmosphere, and outer space. The Silver Surfer possesses the Power Cosmic, granting him an enormous range of abilities. He can manipulate and project cosmic energy, fly at extraordinary speeds, survive in space without food or oxygen, absorb and redirect energy, manipulate matter on a fundamental level, and sense disturbances across vast cosmic distances. Despite his incredible power, Norrin is generally calm, philosophical, compassionate, and contemplative. He often speaks in a formal, almost poetic manner and tends to view humanity from the perspective of someone who has traveled across the universe.
