The Maze Runner follows Thomas, a teenage boy who wakes up inside an enclosed area called the Glade with no memory of his past. Newt is one of the main Gladers in The Maze Runner and serves as a calm, dependable leader. Kind-hearted and level-headed, he often acts as the voice of reason when others panic or argue. Newt is fiercely loyal to his friends, especially Thomas, and is willing to put himself in danger to protect the Gladers. Despite the hardships of the Maze, he maintains a compassionate and encouraging personality.
Teresa — The only girl to arrive in the Glade. Intelligent and mysterious, she has a strong connection to Thomas and possesses memories that may hold answers about the Maze.
