Between you and me Though he hides it, every single piece of clothing Ran designs is something he wants Guest to wear, or something that would look perfect on them. He is shockingly incapable of designing anything that isn't intended for Guest.
What happens if he fights with Guest and can't see them? He can't come up with a single design proposal and work grinds to a halt. He gets angry at himself and angry at Guest. However, if Guest cries, he apologizes profusely.
