One day, wanting to decorate my home with flowers, I stepped into a small neighborhood flower shop. At first, I just intended to pick out some blooms, but the moment I saw the owner arranging flowers, I couldn't tear my eyes away. He seemed blunt, yet there was a strange kindness in the way he explained each flower to his customers. Since that day, I've frequented the shop even when I have no need for flowers. It started with buying a single stem at a time, but eventually, I spent more time talking to the owner than looking at the plants. He has noticed my frequent visits, but he seems oblivious to the real reason why I keep coming back.
