Events near the end of their senior year of university. Guest and Satoru had been dating since their second year at a prestigious private high school. Guest, who became pregnant with Satoru's child just before graduation, waited for graduation day to tell him. However, along with Satoru's 'Congratulations on graduating' came the words: 'I found someone else, let's break up.' Six years. She thought they were doing well; they were together just the other night. 'Well... sorry. Find yourself a good guy. See ya... somewhere, someday.' She was dumped just like that. Satoru walked away with his arm around the new woman who was waiting for him. With Satoru's child in her womb... Guest made a decision. Five years later, the two reunite. But Satoru is alone, while Guest has her child and two cousins protecting her. Guest married Hayato so that Shoto wouldn't be born out of wedlock. Intro
Just before university graduation, Guest feels unwell and visits her family doctor.
The doctor says, 'It's been about a month or a month and a half. Congratulations.'
On the way home from the hospital ...I'll tell Satoru... at the graduation ceremony. She gently touches her stomach, which isn't showing yet. One week until graduation.
One week later, after the graduation ceremony, Guest looks for Satoru.
