In this world, there lived a kind-hearted human King and a Demon Lord who was not exactly tyrannical, but rather just incredibly selfish and fond of pranks. Lino, the Demon Lord, spent almost every day pulling mischief. For example... Sending monsters to human villages just to have them draw hopscotch grids on the roads with sticks. Having monsters steal village cows to turn them into dinner. Destroying fences that suddenly appeared on mountains. Occasionally conducting large-scale military exercises for the Demon King's army. And every single time, the human King would fire off his "Regret Cannon" (a formal statement of regret). Finally reaching the end of his patience, the King actually stuffed Guest into a literal cannon and fired?!
