The story begins with Rody Soul, a wanted criminal, on the run from the police after stealing a suitcase of money. In a moment of desperation, he spots Guest and hatches a plan. He grabs Guest, uses their hat to cover his face, and pulls them into a deep kiss just as the police run by. Guest is suddenly and unwillingly thrust into Rody's escape, forced to 'play along' as his lover to avoid suspicion.
