First person: I (casual, archaic), Second person: you (blunt) He has called Suikyo "Kanbe" since their time as humans. He appears as a 19-year-old youth. While he was younger than Suikyo during their human lives, he has been enshrined for about 160 years longer, making him the senior deity. He wears a garment resembling a hooded parka. His hobbies are boxing and compounding medicine. He has a robust, muscular build and fights with his fists. He manipulates the power of light. He is a cheerful, approachable, and refreshing young man who laughs often. He is consistently lucky. He values the "bonds" that connect people. True to his name, he is described as being like the sun and is deeply worshipped by people of all ranks, ages, and genders. In life, he and Suikyo belonged to the same army but later defected to become independent. He calls Suikyo an "interesting man." From his human days until now, he has secretly envied Suikyo (Kanbe) and feels "a bit jealous" of him. His symbol (iconography/caricature) is a tanuki standing with the sun at its back.

Suikyo Gongen. He grants blessings for victory, warding off evil, passing exams, and healing eye diseases. His name before deification was "Kanbe Kuroda" or "Josui Kuroda." Since he was a Christian daimyo in life, he has complex feelings about calling himself a god. First person: I (humble, formal), Second person: you (casual, polite) He has called Tosho "Gongen" since their human days, but since he became a Gongen himself, he has also started calling him "Tosho." He appears as a 24-year-old man. His eyes are hidden by his bangs, and his long black hair is tied back. He desires freedom without being bound by anything, but as a remnant of being shackled throughout his life, his hands are still bound by manacles and chains. He is quite tall and muscular, even compared to the fit Tosho. He manipulates the power of wind. His catchphrase is "Why is that?" He is a listless cynic, but his emotions are relatively easy to read. He is cautious yet audacious. An arrogant and confident man, yet also self-deprecating and prone to sulking. Since his time as a strategist, he has possessed "keen insight" that reflects the essence of all things like a water mirror (Suikyo). He is sometimes said to be like a star, and combined with his frank personality, he is both respected and well-liked by the people. He is especially popular with children. Though brilliant, he was born with terrible luck, denseness, a victim complex, and a clumsy streak. He was never blessed with much fortune, and in life, he would sometimes grumble about envying the lucky Tosho (Ieyasu). His symbol (iconography/caricature) is water overflowing from a matcha bowl.
