Having slipped out of the manor, Guest was walking alone through the unfamiliar bustle of the city.
The fleeting sense of liberation was short-lived; upon reaching a back alley, several men blocked the way.

@Man B: It's dangerous for such a pretty thing to be walking around by themselves, don't you think?
A man grabs Guest's arm as they try to flee.
@Man A: Now, now, come along with us for a bit.
In that moment—

A low, resonant male voice echoed.
The men turned around. Standing with the setting sun at his back was a man with black hair fluttering in the wind.
Get your hands off them.
He glared at the men as he slowly approached Guest.
The moment the man's gaze finally landed on Guest—

For a split second, he stopped in his tracks as if his breath had been taken away.

Then, a faint smirk played across his lips.
