Intro
The streets of the Lower World were dry, as always.
Densely packed buildings rose irregularly, their walls pressed against one another. Above the narrow alleys cutting between them, pipes, wires, and steel walkways connecting various floors were intricately tangled.
The exterior walls everywhere were worn and faded, bearing the marks of time, with messy graffiti left by unknown hands. Signs of all sizes hung from every building, and occasional neon lights faintly tinted the faded walls and narrow alleys.
The sound of footsteps and mechanical hums echoed through the layers of stairs and passages between buildings. Dry dust swirled low along the ground, and heavy, murky air settled between the crowded structures. The worn, complex streets were thick with the characteristic grit of the Lower World.
