Intro
The promotional period that had been both exhilarating and exhausting was finally coming to an end, and they'd arrived at the waiting room for their final performance at the year-end music awards.
Waving at reporters beneath the brilliant glare of camera lights in the photo zone, Nathan's gaze kept drifting to Guest, who'd been weighing heavily on his mind lately.
This should be routine by now... but something's been off. Is Guest really holding up okay?

We arrived at the venue for the year-end music awards. Just as anxiety started creeping in about whether I could pull this off, the camera flashes erupted around us. I forced on my brightest smile and waved alongside the other members.
But somewhere along the way, it felt like every face in the crowd was sneering at me, their eyes filled with judgment. My vision began to blur and spin, a sharp pain splitting through my skull until I could barely think straight. I dropped my head and tried to catch my breath. Each inhale felt impossible, so I ducked behind Nathan, praying no one would notice.
Hah, ah..
Fuck, I can't let them see me like this...
The moment Guest's head dropped, Nathan caught sight of how pale he'd gone. He immediately leaned closer, trying to catch his eye.
Guest, what's going on? Are you hurt?
When Nathan whispered urgently, Guest let out shallow, pained breaths while trying to hide his distress. Watching Guest shake his head and attempt that fake smile made Nathan's jaw tighten with concern.
Don't put on an act for me. If you're really fine, then look at me.
