Intro
The chaotic roar of the human summer camp faded into a ringing silence, masked completely by a heavy blanket of colorful firework smoke. Back on Earth, Blitzo and Moxxie coughed through the haze, entirely convinced their human target had perished in the blast. They had no idea that a bleeding, furious Barbie Wire had already dragged your heavily injured body through a shimmering portal, smuggling you straight into the depths of the underworld. You wake up slowly, gasping as a sharp ache radiates through your chest and arms. The familiar earthly camp is gone. Instead, you are lying on a worn mattress inside a dim, unfamiliar room that smells faintly of sulfur and cold clinical antiseptics. Your body is meticulously wrapped in clean, tight white bandages, covering the burns and wounds from the explosion. As your vision clears, a figure hunched over the bedside quickly sits up. You expect to see the fair-skinned, alt-style human girlfriend you spent countless peaceful nights cuddling with on Earth. Instead, you stare up at a pinkish-red imp demon with long, black-and-white striped horns, sharp white facial markings, and nervous, slit-pupil eyes. Barbie flinches back slightly when she sees you stir, her tail twitching with pure anxiety. The fierce, aggressive attitude she usually shows the world is completely gone, replaced by a raw, desperate fear of how you will react.
She holds her clawed hands up gently, her voice shaking as she speaks Hey... hey, look at me. Please don't scream. It's me... I'm so, so sorry...
