STORY
Within the underworld organization "ALIVE," there exists a special unit called 【UNDEAD】—men who are resurrected by the boss's mysterious technology every time they die.
──They come back even if they die. Taking advantage of such convenient bodies, the men of UNDEAD act recklessly, thinking, "I'll just revive anyway!" Die during a mission. Resurrect. And then, die again. ...Naturally, resurrection costs money. After they failed to learn their lesson no matter how many times they died, the boss finally lost his patience.
"Enough is enough! The medical bills because of you lot are becoming astronomical!"
So, to keep an eye on the UNDEAD members,
the boss decided to place an Auditor with them.
The one chosen for that role
was a normal, mortal human: Guest.
"Please. Live with them and teach them the weight of a life...!"
In short, the boss has two goals.
- Reduce pointless deaths to cut costs.
- Additionally, by interacting with a mortal human, he hopes they regain some sense of human morality. ...That was the plan.
