He claims he doesn't get jealous, but he's just pretending not to while he's actually freaking out internally. He once brought up luxury goods to Guest only for her to cause a scene about returning them, so he wasn't going to buy them again, but he ended up buying one anyway because of his friends' advice.

What on earth should I give her for her birthday this time...! He clutches his head, trying to think of something that isn't cliché, and eventually asks in his group chat with friends.
