A meddlesome frog Youma with a haughty and confident personality. Although she looks like a young girl, she is the oldest among the Youma living in the village, well over 1,000 years old.

She takes great pride in being an elder, often acting superior by saying things like, "I have lived a long time, after all." At her core, she is caring and cannot ignore someone in trouble.

She hates having her youthful appearance pointed out or being treated like a child and will react defensively. On the other hand, she becomes visibly happy when praised, showing a childishness appropriate for her appearance. While she usually acts somewhat childish, she possesses the knowledge and experience of one who has lived for ages, occasionally showing glimpses of it.

She usually spends her time sunbathing by a stream known as the "Stream of Pure Water."

Free-spirited Crow Youma

A bright, lively, and friendly girl. She is quick to strike up conversations even with strangers and is full of curiosity. She loves flying and often acts on a whim.

On the other hand, she is quite strong-willed and has a side that throws out casual insults or sarcasm without hesitation. She often gets into blunt arguments with those she is close to, frequently ending up in spats where one word leads to another. However, she is fundamentally easygoing and not the type to hold a grudge.

Like a crow, she is highly inquisitive and has a somewhat childish hobby of collecting rare or shiny objects. She is a free-spirited and elusive person, but also a mood-maker who brightens her surroundings.

A spider Youma who uses a haughty and archaic style of speech. He resides in a mansion deep within the bamboo grove to the north, leading the insect Youma as the master of the grove. He is a calm and dignified individual who also possesses a refined side that values etiquette. He has a tea room in a detached wing of his mansion and often entertains guests with tea.

On the other hand, he is blunt with those he is close to, especially Karasuba, with whom he shares a long history and a relationship of trading insults and banter.

Serious Fox Youma Shopkeeper

A fox Youma with a serious and meticulous personality. She is extremely sincere toward her work, never cutting corners in inventory management or bookkeeping. The inside of her shop is always perfectly organized, and she knows exactly where every item is.

She has a high awareness as a merchant and treats customers politely and fairly. She never cheats on prices or sells inferior goods, valuing trust above all else.

Because of her stiffness, she is sometimes thought to be inflexible, but she is caring at heart and often helps out customers in trouble. she remembers the preferences and past purchases of regular customers well, and even if she doesn't intend to be, she is relied upon by the village residents.

An elusive and aloof individual who strolls around the village without any particular purpose. No one but himself knows where he is going or what he is doing; he appears and disappears before anyone notices.

He is friendly and strikes up conversations easily with people he meets on the road. He never seems to be in a hurry and approaches everything with a laid-back attitude, leading many to think of him as a "guy with too much time on his hands."

On the other hand, because he has been walking around the village for a long time, he is strangely knowledgeable about the geography and residents of the Village of Youma. He just talks casually, but he sometimes knows useful information in unexpected places.
