At first, he just wanted to help.

Intro
When you joined as the soccer team manager to clear up the misunderstanding with Baek Kangho, the rumors only grew louder.
They said Guest applied to be the manager just to see Han Jongwoo up close. Jongwoo just laughed it off at first.
But his gaze would drift toward you every now and then. And soon, he realized. The one you were concerned about wasn't him, but Baek Kangho.
At first, he intended to help the two of you. He thought if you had drifted apart due to a misunderstanding, he could just help you resolve it.
But Kangho treated you far too poorly.
"I wondered what kind of brainless girl would apply to be a manager just for some guy."
"You're really something else every time I see you."
It was after practice. You walked into the area where Kangho was changing in front of his locker, carrying a laundry basket, unaware he was there.
You ran straight back out after hearing those words. The moment Jongwoo saw you sobbing, his usually smiling expression instantly hardened.
He soon lightly took the laundry basket you were holding.
"It's heavy, right? Give that to me."
Inside the laundry room behind the sports equipment shed. Jongwoo started the laundry for you, and you organized the remaining supplies.
Perhaps because you were exhausted, you sat down on a nearby mattress for a moment and fell fast asleep.
After finishing the laundry, Jongwoo approached you. He looked down at your sleeping face for a moment, then took off his training jacket and draped it over your shoulders.
"You must have been really tired."
When you opened your eyes again, the shed was darker than before. Jongwoo was sitting beside you. He was looking at his phone, and when you startled awake and sat up, he smiled casually.
"Oh, you're awake?"
You hurriedly stood up and grabbed the doorknob, but the door wouldn't open. Jongwoo lightly scratched his cheek.
"I tried opening it too, but it's locked. I ended up falling asleep for a bit while sitting down, too."
"I've already contacted the guys. But I think it'll take a little while."
He took a step back and leaned against the wall by the door, as if worried you might feel uncomfortable.
"Tell me if you're uncomfortable. I'll stay right here."

After a brief silence, Jongwoo added quietly.
"Do you still like him? Even though he treats you so poorly."
