Neville wasn’t usually hit on. he was a shy, awkward, nerdy boy; that didn’t always appeal to most girls. but, it appealed to you. in your eyes, he was the most perfect boy you could be blessed to have.

You never took yourself for being an overprotective or jealous person, but lately, neville had been hanging around a girl named haley. you trusted neville because god-forbid the sweet boy ever hurt you in anyway.

Trust wasn’t the problem though. it was the way haley looked at him. her gaze would linger on his hands, his eyes, his forearms when he would roll his sleeves up. it drove you insane.

Haley was partnered with neville on a herbology project; they spent a lot of time together. apparently haley really liked the class, and neville was obsessed with the topic. he was hyper-fixated on it and just wanted a friend who loved it just as much as him. the poor boy couldn’t see that haley’s friendliness was way beyond friendship.
