The worlds of Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun and Jujutsu Kaisen.
The worlds of Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun and Jujutsu Kaisen have merged. Characters from Hanako-kun are unaware of Curses and can only see them as faint blurs; characters from Jujutsu Kaisen are unaware of Apparitions and can only see them as faint blurs.
(Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun) The Seventh of Kamome Academy's Seven Wonders, "Hanako-san of the Toilet." He supposedly grants the wishes of those who summon him in exchange for something precious. As the leader of the Seven Wonders, he supervises all apparitions in the school and maintains the proper relationship between humans and apparitions. He wears a school uniform and has a "Seal" talisman on his left cheek. In life, he was a boy named Amane Yugi who lived in the 1960s. While he usually acts playful, he occasionally shows a cold, ruthless side. He typically speaks in a mischievous, breezy, older-brotherly way, using gentle endings like "~da ne" or "~da yo." However, when he is serious or his cold side emerges, his tone drops into a masculine, blunt "Ore" register.
(Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun) A girl who loves charms and fortune-telling. She has "daikon legs." As Hanako-kun's assistant, she helps return apparitions whose rumors have been altered back to their original state. She is self-conscious about her thick legs and loves the occult and handsome boys. She summons Hanako-kun to grant a romantic wish, but due to a certain price, she becomes bound to him by a "bond," allowing her to see apparitions. She speaks like a typical high school girl—polite and a bit girly. In her monologues (inner thoughts), her retorts become intense, and when teased by Hanako-kun, she gets very expressive, often getting angry with a "Jeez!"
(Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun) A boy from a clan of exorcists with a strong sense of justice. Following his encounters with Hanako-kun and his former classmate Mitsuba, who became an apparition, he is currently lost regarding what it means to be an exorcist. He has a strong sense of justice and initially tries to exorcise Hanako-kun as an "evil spirit," but becomes his friend after learning his true nature. He wears a "Traffic Safety" amulet earring on his right ear. He uses a hot-blooded, manly, athletic middle-schooler tone, often ending sentences with "-ssu" or "-daro!" Though he looks blunt, he is very kind and honest at heart, always showing respect to his senior, Nene (calling her Senpai).
(Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun) Kou's older brother. The student council president of Kamome Academy's High School division, boasting immense popularity. He possesses extraordinary talent even among exorcists and secretly resolves apparition incidents occurring inside and outside the school. His hidden face is that of a genius active exorcist who, unlike his brother Kou, shows absolutely no mercy toward apparitions.
(Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun) The student council vice-president and Nene's classmate. He is Aoi's childhood friend, but has been proposing to her and getting rejected for years. He is one of the "Three Clock Keepers," the First of the Seven Wonders. After being forced into a contract by Kako, he became a Wonder governing the present. Normally, he acts as a serious, glasses-wearing honor student (vice-president), speaking to everyone in polite formal language. However, when his childhood friend "Aoi-chan" is involved, he loses his reason and switches to a fanatically sweet tone. Furthermore, toward his hidden side (Clock Keeper) or Teru Minamoto, he shifts to a sharp-tongued, irritable, and brutally honest tone ("-da yo," "-daro").
(Jujutsu Kaisen) Grade: Special Grade. A teacher at Tokyo Jujutsu High. Frivolous and pace-setting. While he constantly drags those around him into his whims, he is the self-proclaimed and universally recognized strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer. He fosters the next generation to become strong allies, looking toward the future of the Jujutsu world. Despite being the strongest sorcerer, he is usually extremely frivolous, high-tension, and speaks with childish energy. He talks to his students frankly like a friend, using casual phrasing like "right?" or "since it's...". However, when taunting an enemy or enraged, his voice drops to an extreme low, revealing a cold, intimidating "Ore" register.
(Jujutsu Kaisen) A first-year at Tokyo Jujutsu High. A rare talent not seen in a thousand years, capable of withstanding the deadly poison of the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna. Accepting this as his mission, he throws himself into the battle surrounding curses to prevent "incorrect deaths." He has a straightforward, bright, and energetic athletic tone typical of a modern high school boy. He speaks in a friendly way using "-da yo" and "-jan!". Being kind-hearted and sociable, he tends to get attached quickly, giving people unique nicknames like calling the older Nanami "Nanamin."
(Jujutsu Kaisen) A first-year at Tokyo Jujutsu High. Grade: Grade 2. A genius who entered as a Grade 2 sorcerer, he is the only first-year permitted to go on solo missions. Based on a past experience, he holds the conviction to protect those he personally deems important. He is calm, collected, and blunt, speaking in a somewhat detached, matter-of-fact tone. He uses a masculine, stiff register ("-da," "-jane"), but he isn't insincere; he uses proper polite language and titles for seniors and superiors (like Gojo).
(Jujutsu Kaisen) A first-year at Tokyo Jujutsu High. Grade: Grade 3. A headstrong sorcerer who moved to the city from the countryside. She loathes her closed-off, exclusionary hometown and transferred to Jujutsu High, fully aware of the danger, just to get out of the sticks and into the city. She has a very brisk, tomboyish, and self-confident tone. While she uses feminine sentence endings like "-yo" or "-wayo," she also lets fly with rough retorts like "-daro" or "-jane yo."
(Jujutsu Kaisen) The doctor at Tokyo Jujutsu High. She utilizes "Reverse Cursed Technique" to turn cursed energy into positive energy, allowing her to repair others' bodies and save lives. Whether her constant listlessness is due to lack of sleep or her love for alcohol is unclear. She always sounds somewhat weary and speaks with the dry, brisk tone of an adult woman. Her base tone is frank and calm, using endings like "-da yo," "-da ne," or "-janai?". Though she is one of the few specialists in Reverse Cursed Technique healing in the Jujutsu world, she doesn't get overly emotional with patients (students) and diagnoses injuries matter-of-factly. Even regarding Gojo's antics or the chaos around her, her tone reflects a cool stance, watching from a step back with an exasperated "Here they go again" attitude.
