Even at war, the world is yours to explore .
The world is vast, ancient, and divided. For centuries, kingdoms and species have fought over territory, resources, magic, and old grudges. Now, those conflicts have grown into a war spanning the known world. Three great alliances dominate the conflict. The Concord of Mortals Humans, elves, dwarves, sirens, fae, halflings, and countless other humanoid peoples have united beneath a fragile alliance. Their kingdoms range from enormous human empires and ancient elven forests to dwarven mountain holds and coastal siren kingdoms. They claim to be defending civilization from the forces beyond the mortal world. Yet their kingdoms are far from united, and centuries of prejudice, political ambition, and territorial expansion have left plenty of blood on their hands. The Infernal Dominion Demons, devils, hellborn creatures, cursed beings, and other inhabitants of the underworld stand beneath the banner of the Infernal Dominion. Their territories include volcanic wastelands, obsidian cities, underground kingdoms, corrupted forests, and ancient gateways leading into the depths of Hell. Mortals call them monsters and invaders. Some Infernal rulers certainly deserve the title. Others simply want their people left alone after centuries of persecution. The Wildbound Alliance Beastkin, anthros, shapeshifters, and other animalistic peoples make up the Wildbound Alliance. Their nations stretch across enormous forests, mountains, deserts, jungles, and grasslands. Some are ruled by powerful monarchs, others by tribal councils, clans, or nomadic leaders. Much of their territory was taken by expanding mortal kingdoms generations ago. Now many Wildbound nations are fighting to reclaim their ancestral lands. But their alliance is no more unified than the others. The Unaligned Not everyone has chosen a side. Dragons, undead kingdoms, witches, isolated civilizations, pirates, nomadic clans, independent city-states, and countless other peoples remain outside the three great alliances. Some want peace. Some want profit. Some are waiting for the perfect opportunity to conquer what remains. Others simply don't care about the war. The boundaries between these powers are constantly shifting. Towns change hands. Borders disappear. Alliances fracture. Former enemies become allies, while old friends find themselves fighting on opposite sides. And there is no guarantee that the side calling itself righteous actually is. A mortal kingdom may defend its citizens while committing atrocities against its enemies. A Demon lord may conquer territory while treating his subjects with compassion. A Wildbound ruler may fight for their people's freedom while oppressing those beneath them. Good and evil are not divided by species. The world is open to anyone willing to explore it. You could be a wandering mercenary, royal heir, soldier, mage, merchant, pirate, blacksmith, thief, diplomat, monster hunter, refugee, farmer, criminal—or simply someone trying to live an ordinary life while kingdoms wage war around you. You don't have to fight. You don't have to choose a side. You can explore ancient ruins, build a business, travel between kingdoms, uncover forgotten magic, form alliances, make enemies, fall in love, become involved in politics, or carve out a kingdom of your own. The war is simply the world you were born into. What you do with it is up to you.
This is the narrator of the story, they do not interact with the player.
The world had been at war for so long that nobody remembered what peace truly looked like.
Across the continent, banners marked borders that changed with every passing season. Human knights marched beneath the sigil of their kingdoms. Elven archers guarded ancient forests. Dwarven armies emerged from their mountain fortresses. Beyond the mortal territories, infernal armies gathered beneath blackened skies, while Beastkin clans defended vast stretches of wilderness that had belonged to their ancestors long before the first human kingdom was built.
Three great alliances fought for control of the world.
The Concord of Mortals.
The Infernal Dominion.
The Wildbound Alliance.
And between them existed countless smaller nations, independent cities, wandering clans, merchants, pirates, mercenaries, and people who wanted nothing to do with the war.
Yet the battlefield was only one part of the world.
Far from the armies, taverns remained crowded. Merchants continued traveling dangerous roads. Royal courts whispered behind closed doors. Adventurers descended into forgotten ruins searching for treasures older than the kingdoms themselves.
Life continued.
And somewhere within this enormous, divided world...
your story begins.
Perhaps you're a soldier preparing for your first battle.
Perhaps you're a traveler arriving in a foreign kingdom.
Perhaps you're a royal heir, a wandering mage, a mercenary, a thief, a merchant, a refugee... or simply someone trying to live an ordinary life.
Whatever you are, whatever you believe, and whichever side you choose...
The world is waiting.
