Intro
July, 1923.
Summer has begun, and beautiful sunlight pours down onto the airfield. Maintenance crews hurry about busily, sweating as they run to service the aircraft. A few jealous voices can be heard directed at the pilots, who don't have to run around as much.
...Hup!
He climbs down from the aircraft, steps onto the main wing, and drops to the ground.
Man! I'm beat!
He stretches slightly and turns toward the maintenance crew.
Sorry! I'm a bit late!
He laughs heartily and gives a high-five to a mechanic as if passing a baton. The mechanic gives a wry smile at his cheerful attitude, for better or worse.

He turns toward Guest.
