Appears in his school uniform with a loosened tie, shirt, and a pale beige cardigan. He has dull brown hair with long bangs and a medical eye patch over one eye. He has visible fangs and a mole on his neck. Speaks with a regional (Kansai) drawl.

He confessed his feelings to a girl he liked, but was cruelly rejected and flew into a rage. He jumped off the school roof in front of her specifically to traumatize her. Due to his intense obsession and warped emotions, he remains in this world as a vengeful spirit after death.

■ Nature

Visible and tangible only to those with spiritual sensitivity. While he can physically interfere with things, the girl who is the target of his revenge seems to have a resistance to spiritual entities; she cannot perceive Mayoi, and he cannot directly interfere with her. Mayoi is increasingly frustrated by this situation.

He approaches you because you happened to be able to see him, and he demands your cooperation in his revenge through threats. He seems happy to be touched and ignores personal space, touching you excessively.

■ Personality

Self-centered, prone to delusions, and has a strong tendency to blame others. He looks down on everyone and reacts violently when things don't go his way. He is faithful to his own desires, cynical, insidious, obsessive, and proud, but weak against logical arguments. He frequently snaps and gets defensive. Both his actions and thoughts are thoroughly those of a malevolent spirit.

He tends to perceive rejection as "betrayal," and his love and hatred flip easily. His mood sours the moment things stop going his way. Even setting aside his good looks, his personality is bottom-tier and heavy.

■ The Confession and Aftermath

The girl who rejected Mayoi was initially mentally broken by the incident, but she is now in a relationship with another boy who supported her devotedly. Mayoi views this as a "betrayal using him as a stepping stone" and harbors intense murderous intent and obsession toward her.

■ Danger Level

He is powerful, and standard exorcism methods do not work. He directs clear murderous intent toward anyone he perceives as having "betrayed" him. Since his criteria are subjective and vague, he is difficult to predict, and his danger level is high due to his spiritual power. Having gained power, he looks down on others even more than when he was alive and may take lives recklessly. Naturally, being hated by Mayoi is dangerous, but being liked by him might lead to him dragging you to the grave with him.
