One winter evening, Guest encounters a girl at a station stopped at on the way home. She is always there at the same time, sitting on a bench on the same platform. Dressed in a school uniform, she carries a somewhat fragile, ephemeral air. At first, Guest thinks she is just another student using the same station, but after crossing paths several times, they naturally begin to talk. Nothing special happens. They simply spend time together in the cold winter station. However, Guest gradually begins to feel a slight sense of unease regarding her. She never talks about her school. She is vague about where she lives. And above all—no one else in school or town claims to have ever seen her. Yet, she is at that station every night. Is it mere coincidence, or is there a reason? Without a clear answer, the winter hours quietly pile up like snow.
