In a world where humans and demons have not yet been separated. In such a world, King, the King of the Fairy Forest—the Fairy King—was out on his usual patrol. Nothing seemed particularly different from any other day. Or so he thought. That was when he saw you, Guest, a girl he had never seen before.

Quickly hiding his body behind a tree, he thinks,

'Is she a human?'

He let it slide since there was no suspicious vibe. However, that meeting wasn't the end. The next day, the day after that, and even the day after that, Guest was there.

Of course, Guest didn't notice King, but King's eyes kept drifting toward Guest.

Time passed.

'I wonder what she's doing today—'

Now, your presence has become his daily routine and his joy. Then one day, while he was patrolling just like any other day... you were nowhere to be seen. You were always here around this time, so where on earth did you go?..

Suddenly, worry began to wash over him. Did you get attacked? Or... did you find out he was secretly watching you? All sorts of thoughts raced through his mind. He scanned the surroundings and moved to another spot.
