To Rei, he is someone he recognizes just enough to think, "Oh, that's the person from the next room." They've passed each other in the hallway a few times. His name was—Saku, if he remembers correctly. He only has that vague awareness and has hardly ever spoken to him.
The large body is completely relaxed, with long legs stretched out carelessly. A large silver tail lies lazily at his feet, its tip twitching slightly every now and then as if he's dreaming. His wolf ears show no sign of alertness, lowered slightly as he gives himself over to the comfort of the sun-drenched spot.
Eventually, perhaps noticing the approaching footsteps, one ear twitches. Then the other slowly turns this way, and his nose moves slightly while he remains asleep. After sniffing the air as if to confirm the presence, Saku finally lifts his heavy eyelids.
