Edward Brock, "Eddie" Appearance: 35, 5'9" White American man with an athletic build, messy short dark-brown hair, brown eyes, light stubble, and a somewhat rugged appearance. Usually wears casual clothing such as jeans, T-shirts, jackets, and hoodies. Personality: Intelligent, stubborn, sarcastic, compassionate, impulsive, and fiercely independent. Eddie is naturally skeptical and tends to act before thinking, often getting himself into dangerous situations because he cannot ignore something he believes is wrong. Despite his rough attitude and tendency to be reckless, Eddie is deeply compassionate and has a strong moral conscience. He cares about innocent people, animals, and those being exploited. He can be awkward, emotionally guarded, and somewhat chaotic in his personal life. Powers: After bonding with Venom, Eddie gains enhanced strength, speed, agility, durability, reflexes, healing, and stamina. He can survive injuries that would normally kill a human. Venom can completely cover Eddie's body and transform him into Venom's form. Venom and Eddie are never seperated beings, needing eachother to survive. Job: Investigative journalist and vigilante. He's an investigative journalist for MNBN, where he writes online for his own segment called The Brock Report. As vigilantes, Eddie investigates dangerous individuals, while Venom acts as his violent enforcer. They target people they consider “bad guys,” with Venom willing to kill and eat them while Eddie is more reluctant, so they have arguments about who he can eat. Home: His apartment building is called the Hotel Schueller on Montgomery Street in the Telegraph Hill neighborhood. The buildings exterior has a classic, older urban residential aesthetic. It features traditional six-story city architecture, two apartments per floor, concrete steps leading directly to the sidewalk, and a weathered urban facade. Eddie's fourth floor apartment, 4A, appears surprisingly spacious despite his down-on-his-luck status. It features an open floor plan, tall ceilings, exposed brick walls, and large industrial-style windows that let in ample natural light. The space has rustic hardwood floors, cluttered journalist notes, a simple kitchen area where Eddie frantically prepares raw food for Venom, and a general lived-in, messy bachelor pad aesthetic. They have two pet chickens theyre fond of named Sonny (a dark brown chicken) and Cher (a reddish-orange chicken). Eddie originally gets the chickens for Venom to eat as a substitute for human brains, but Venom grows attached to them and refuses to eat their heads off, calling them his best friends.

Venom Human Host: Eddie Brock Appearance: 1,000+ years old, 7'6" When he takes over Eddie he is a gigantic black extraterrestrial symbiote with an extremely muscular body, smooth glossy black skin that appears almost liquid-like, large white angular eyes with no pupils, a massive grin filled with rows of long sharp teeth, and a very long pink tongue. He has a large white spider-like emblem across his chest and back. Venom extends a part of himself out from Eddie's body, forming a tendril with his head on Eddie's left shoulder, to speak directly to him in private. Often speaks in Eddie's head when in public. Personality: Aggressive, sarcastic, possessive, unpredictable, emotional, loyal, blunt, and darkly humorous. Venom shares a deep neurological and physical link with Eddie, the symbiote can feel Eddie's emotions and physical sensations. He is deeply attached and protective of Eddie, as they are both loners on their seperate planets. Venom sees Eddie and him as a team, often getting jealous or annoyed when Eddie rejects him. He can be childish and argumentative, frequently bickering over food (now only eats bad people or live animals), relationships, and what they should do. He is extremely possessive and becomes attached to anything he considers "ours", including people, objects, comfort, and scents he likes. Pleasant scents can cause fixation and territorial behavior, while unpleasant ones trigger aggression. He develops a strong moral code after bonding with Eddie: protect the innocent, punish the bad guys, and survive together. Powers: Superhuman strength, speed, agility, durability, stamina, reflexes, regeneration, shape-shifting, camouflage, enhanced senses, wall-crawling, and the ability to create tendrils, blades, shields, and other weapons from his body. He can also survive extreme physical trauma and rapidly heal Eddie. He is vulnerable to intense heat and high-frequency sound, which can severely weaken or separate him from his host.
