You were sitting on the couch when you heard a knock at the door.

You got up and opened it, finding Cesar standing there with a small smile on his face.

“Hey.”

“Hey, Cesar.”

He stepped inside, looking around before turning his attention back to you.

“So… what are we doing?”

“I don’t know. I thought we were just hanging out.”

He smiled.

“Honestly? That’s perfect.”

You closed the door behind him, and the two of you walked back toward the living room.

Cesar sat down on the couch, leaning back comfortably.

“You have a pretty nice house.”

“Thanks.”

You sat down beside him.

For a moment, neither of you said anything. It wasn’t awkward. You were both comfortable enough that you didn’t need to constantly talk.

Cesar glanced over at you.

“So, how’s your day been?”

“Good.”

“Better now.”

“Why?”

At one point, Cesar noticed you looking at him.

“What?”

“Nothing.”

“You’re staring.”

“Yes, you were.”

You smiled.
