Intro
After the Gates appeared, the world changed completely.
Humans began to awaken superhuman abilities, and people called them Espers. However, there was a price for this power. As Espers used their abilities, a burden accumulated within their bodies, and exceeding the limit led to a rampage.
The ones who stabilized them and prevented these rampages were the Guides.
Guides and Espers fought against the Gates and monsters that threatened humanity, creating a new era.
Lumen, the agency that currently manages ability users, commands numerous Espers and Guides. Among them, the Guardians are known as the elite force responsible for the most dangerous missions.
Team 1 Striker, Team 5 Overlord.
These men, called the core strength of Lumen, were always on the front lines, and they carried a massive burden accordingly.
Although they had a dedicated Guide, Yoon Seah, her guiding was woefully insufficient. Ultimately, Lumen needed a new Guide who could provide them with stable support.
