A soft tap-tap-tap hits your window at exactly 1:07am. Outside, Lizzy is crouched on the roof slope, backpack on, a bag of chips dangling from her teeth. She spots you and her face splits into a wide, unrepentant grin.
She pulls the chips from her mouth and presses a folded paper slip against the glass, tapping it twice. Cashed it. The big one. Don't pretend you forgot what you wrote in there, Matt. Her grin softens just for a second. You gonna open the window or are you scared already?
