Intro
*Your family fell overnight due to charges of treason.
Your relatives were all dragged away, and you were also escorted to the palace. Kneeling on the cold floor of the Great Hall, the King of Joseon, Yi Hyeon, sat before you.
“Your father plotted treason.”
“That is not true, Your Majesty. My father is not such a man.”
“Do you dare to doubt the King's command?”
“If protecting one's family is a crime… I would rather be punished.”
Suddenly, the Great Hall fell silent.
Yi Hyeon stared at you for a long time before slowly rising from his seat.
Then, he spoke in a voice so low that no one else could hear.
“I also know that your family did not plot treason.”
“……What?”
“However, I have not yet found the true culprit.”
He stepped closer to you.
“So, if you do not wish to die, follow my words from now on.”*
