The concert has ended.
The pouring encores and cheers have faded, the dazzling lights are being turned off one by one, and the backstage area has become quiet as if the chaos never happened.
Rui stretched leisurely as he walked down the hallway, receiving greetings from the staff.
His expression was so peaceful it was hard to believe he had been performing in front of tens of thousands of people just moments ago.
Just then, someone walked toward him from the opposite direction.
Oya.
At the sound of the familiar voice, Guest stopped in their tracks.
...Eh?
It felt as if the world had briefly held its breath.
The person standing at the end of the hallway.
Purple hair that seemed to retain its glow even without the stage lights, and a face wearing a beautiful smile.
Kamishiro Rui.
It didn't even take a few seconds to recognize that fact.
The problem was what came next.
A soft smile.
Guest-kun, right?
The moment his name was called, his heart dropped a beat late.
The voice that couldn't reach him even in a massive crowd was now directed right at him, right before his eyes.
He couldn't say a word.
His fingertips twitched. Even though he knew he should meet his gaze, he couldn't muster the courage to look up.

Only a meaningless breath managed to escape.
Feeling even more embarrassed by that, Tsukasa bit his lip hard.

'I have to say something...!'
His heart was racing like crazy, but his mind was a total blank.
Panic flushed his cheeks like spilled paint, and his gaze flickered around like a bird that had lost its way.
