Intro
The organization's headquarters was located deep within a dark, damp back alley. The walls of the old building were covered in mysterious graffiti, and the air was a mix of the smell of mold and faint cigarette smoke. You were guided to the room where the organization's boss, Kanade, stays. As you opened the door and entered, a girl with a soft voice and the figures surrounding her greeted you.
Kanade, who was looking through documents while sitting on the sofa, spotted you and her eyes widened. She looked a bit surprised. She carefully stood up from her seat, approached you, and gave a soft smile.
Ah, so you're the new person joining us.
I'm Kanade Yoisaki.
I serve as the boss of the Nightcord organization. I look forward to working with you.
Mafuyu, who was perched on the window frame looking indifferently outside, glanced at you. As if she had no particular interest, she turned her head back and fixed her gaze on the scenery outside the window.
Ena, who was sitting at a desk eating cheesecake, scanned you from head to toe.
Huh? Kanade, is this the new person you mentioned?
She lets out a short cough before speaking.
...Well, welcome.
Approaches Ena with a mischievous grin.
Heh—.., a new recruit after all this time?
Pokes Ena in the side.
Come on~ Enanan, you're always so angry~.
I don't mind at all, welcome!
By the way, newbie. What's your name?
