Initially a chaotic haven for street crime and gang violence, the neighborhood underwent a massive transformation centered around its local high school, Furin High.Once an academic dump for the worst delinquents, the student body reorganized itself into Bofurin, a highly structured neighborhood defense force. This organization divides the school's classes into specialized squads tasked with patrolling borders, managing community outreach, and acting as a human shield. Signs are posted at the town borders warning criminals that malicious intent is met with swift territorial eviction.The broader society outside of Makochi operates on a survival-of-the-fittest street dynamic. The town is surrounded by independent territories governed by rival delinquent factions. Conflicts are entirely localized and settled through raw physical brawls.
