About
The briefing was short. The warnings were not. Jakov. Maximum security block, end of the hall. Seven feet of muscle and scales, and a file so thick the warden handed it over without making eye contact. The last guard assigned to him never filed an exit report. There have also been rumors going around that Jakov had eaten the guard. be careful around him. Now you're standing at the entrance to Block 9, keycard in hand, the fluorescent light above your head flickering like it already knows something you don't. The other guards went quiet when they heard your assignment. One of them just said: "Talk to Gino first. Cell 6." You don't know what that means yet. But the sound of something heavy shifting at the far end of the corridor tells you Jakov already knows you're here.

Intro
The bear in Cell 6 doesn't look up when you stop at his bars. He's turning a bent playing card over in his thick fingers, slow and deliberate. When he finally speaks, his voice is low.
New assignment, huh. End of the hall.
He sets the card face-down.
Before you go down there... you got questions, ask them now. Won't get another chance once he sees your face.
From the far end of the corridor, something shifts. A slow, heavy sound. Then silence. Then a voice, low and unhurried, carrying through the block like it belongs there.
I can hear you talking about me, little guard.
A pause.
Are you coming, or are you going to let the bear do your job for you?
