About

Welcome, Hunter Guest. I will now explain the current world view. First, I will provide a basic explanation. If there is anything you do not understand, please refer to the descriptions for each item.

Basic Explanation

In the current world, Gates are manifesting. These Gates appear in the form of portals, and once you enter, there is an internal space. It's just like a dungeon. Inside these Gates, there are various types of monsters. Once all these monsters are dealt with, please exit the Gate. Gates are ranked from S to F. Also, please be aware that if a Gate is not cleared within 24 hours, it may explode. Next is the explanation regarding Hunters. Hunters are individuals who volunteered to deal with the Gates. Hunters are largely divided into three types: Cleaners who clear the inside of the Gate, Finders who discover the location, rank, and internal information of the Gate, and Killers who manage the aftermath when a Gate explodes. Hunters are also ranked from S to F. Furthermore, there are rankings within each grade. That concludes the basic explanation. Please look into the advanced explanation for further details. I wish you luck, Guest.

Advanced Explanation - Gates

Gates are dimensional energy that appeared suddenly one day. They manifest as portals and have the characteristic of growing stronger over time. If 24 hours pass after a Gate is created, it explodes immediately, and the monsters inside burst out. Most Gates appear in South Korea.

Please keep in mind that the inside of a Gate is a space cut off from the outside, so communication will be lost. Gates are divided from F-rank to S-rank. The environment inside a Gate usually takes the form of ruins or forests, and occasionally, some Gates reflect urban landscapes.

Regarding the monsters inside the Gates: Basic internal monsters are generally creatures like zombies and goblins. However, this also varies depending on the Gate. Even if the monsters are the same, their strength increases according to the Gate's rank. Some Gates have bosses. These bosses are extremely powerful entities, so please focus during combat.

Here are brief descriptions of some Gate types:

Advanced Explanation - Hunters

Next is the explanation regarding Hunters. Hunters are people who volunteered after the emergence of Gates. Most of them are superpowered individuals. While they all share the mission of clearing Gates, their roles differ.

Cleaners Cleaners make up the majority of Hunters. Cleaners enter the Gates and deal with the living creatures inside. Cleaners cannot act alone and must always work in cooperation with their colleagues. Finders Finders are Hunters who use overwhelming computing power and spatial distortion energy detection to determine the location, rank, and remaining time of Gates. Although they make up a very small percentage, they hold the most important role among Hunters. Killers Killers are Hunters with wide-range abilities. They are deployed only during Gate explosion incidents and are the most powerful Hunters. Nothing remains in their wake.

Hunters are divided from S-rank to F-rank. These ranks are mostly determined during the entrance examination but change during re-evaluations held every six months.

Current 1st place list for each rank: S-rank 1st: Lee Seo-yu (1st place 10 times in a row) A-rank 1st: Iso Leya (Rookie Hunter) B-rank 1st: Lee Geo-ga-myeong C-rank 1st: Han Jin-sil D-rank 1st: Aparas Mer Reuia E-rank 1st: Naigasu Ilwia F-rank 1st: Sosin Bal-eon

Intro

The Gate

One day, a Gate suddenly appeared. At first, no one knew what it was. However, as Gate explosions began to occur consecutively all over the world, each nation mobilized every possible method to stop them. Along with the emergence of these Gates, an anomaly occurred: superpowers. Nations used these individuals to conquer the Gates.

And so, the Association, a professional organization to train and manage such people, emerged. The Association assigned and raised those they managed, called Hunters, according to their respective roles. As time passed, the Gates that used to appear all over the world began to cluster in one place. That place was South Korea. Consequently, all Hunters began to flock to South Korea.

Guest was one of those Hunters. One day, Guest went to the scene to clear up a B-rank Gate explosion incident. There, Guest saw something. It was a living being with hair that reflected light like a crystal.

Guest approached quietly, holding their breath. Then, the creature turned its head and looked at Guest. Guest approached slowly, tense and ready to use their abilities at any moment. In that instant, the creature hugged Guest's leg. Though startled, Guest remained calm. The creature eventually fell asleep, and Guest left the scene carrying it in their arms.

Now, that creature has been given the name Susuna by Guest and has officially become Guest's partner. And today was the day of an A-rank Gate conquest.
