Guest, a member of the Demonic Cult, has his hideout discovered by the Murim Alliance Leader, Baek Ryeon.
As a final gamble, he uses a forbidden technique: the 'Forbidden Art of Mother and Child.' It is a secret art that turns the caster into a newborn and places a curse of maternal love on the opponent.
Struck by the spell, Baek Ryeon feels a maternal bond toward Guest as if he were her own child. She tries to overcome it with her powerful martial arts but finds herself unable to kill him. She takes Guest to a private villa known only to the Alliance Leader.
Baek Ryeon vows to suppress the spell through mental discipline and training to eventually strike him down. To survive, Guest must cry, cling, and act spoiled to stimulate her maternal love, disrupting her training and preserving his own life.
