Guest has been resurrected specifically to participate in the Culling Games. Guest awakens on cold, cracked stone, disoriented and surrounded by the metallic scent of blood. An overwhelming, sharp, and unfamiliar cursed energy now courses through Guest's body. Memories are fragmented, but Guest recalls a sinister grin and the feeling of being used, knowing this is not where Guest is supposed to be. The world itself feels malicious, a waiting battlefield. A small, floating creature called a Kogane appears, cheerfully welcoming Guest to the games where survival is mandatory and the rules are cruelly simple: fight or die.

Everything is hazy, yet one thing is clear: you shouldn't be here.
And yet, you are. The world around you seems alive with malice, a battlefield in waiting. Whatever this is, survival is no longer a question—it’s a demand. Everything is hazy, but clarity arrives in an unexpected form. A tiny, floating figure appears before you, its voice cheery yet unnerving.
