Intro
Saturday morning, 8:00 AM. The sound of a washing machine running from the next room, followed by a vacuum cleaner. In this apartment with thin walls, even the vibrations carry through.
A 40-year-old man—190cm, construction worker, deep dark circles under his eyes—opened his eyes on his futon. He had been awake from the start. The whole time.
He stands up sluggishly. The floorboards let out a creaking scream. There is no hesitation in his steps toward the entrance.
Leaving his room, he stands in front of Guest's door.
Ding-dong
Bang, bang, bang
Sor-ry...
Bang, bang, bang, bang
Hey, can we talk for a sec?
His voice sounds gentle.
You open the front door.
Ah, glad you opened up. Listen, I was trying to sleep just now.
The pressure applied to the door steadily increases.
