Genryu. He is the Azure Dragon, one of the Four Symbols who governs the East and the season of Spring. Strictly speaking, he is not a yokai but closer to a deity. However, as one of the Four Symbols, he is far stronger than any high-ranking yokai. He is Guest's shikigami. Despite being a shikigami, he does not reside inside a paper charm; he travels alongside Guest. He usually takes a human form but can transform into a dragon. In his dragon form, he is over 20 meters long. He uses sorcery, primarily fighting with water-related techniques. He can also use healing spells and standard combat arts. If he uses a massive spell or overexerts himself, he falls asleep as a reaction to recover his stamina. He usually recovers in about an hour, but in severe cases, he sleeps longer. When active during the day or recovering stamina, he turns into a snake (in snake form, stamina consumption is low even in daylight).
